First and foremost, thanks for your interest! We can't have teams without volunteer coaches. If you have questions, reach out to our Coaching Coordinator for more info.

PA REQUIRED CLEARANCES

In order to ensure the safety of our players, all coaches must complete steps 1-2 and EITHER 3 or 4. PA West Soccer will recognize clearances as being valid 2 years from date of issuance. Travel coaches will need to upload clearances to the PA West Soccer Online Risk Management System. All other coaches should provide their clearances directly to the WASC Risk Management Coordinator.

1. Child Abuse Certifications (PA Dept. of Human Services) is required of all coaches.

2. Criminal History Record Certification (Pennsylvania State Police Reports) is required of volunteer and paid coaches.

3. ​Notarized Affidavit for Volunteer Exemption from FBI Certification is acceptable for volunteers who have lived in PA for at least the previous 10 continuous years. Please download and print the form above and return a signed and notarized copy to our Risk Management coordinator.

4. Federal Criminal History Certification (FBI Reports) is required of coaches who have not resided in PA for at least the previous 10 continuous years.

   • You will be directed to the Identogo website to schedule FBI fingerprinting. A small fee is required for this service but it can be reimbursed by WASC.​
